Weekends are for friends and adventure, you’ll get out and about, do things to build your independence, develop a few life skills and make loads of new friends. These programs are jam-packed with local events, attractions, cruises and much more.

Auburn Botanical Gardens and BBQ

Today, we will visit the beautiful Botanical Gardens in Auburn, a hidden oasis including riverside ecosystem, Australian rainforest, native garden, rose garden, fauna reserve, multiple aviaries and the Ryoan-ji style Japanese Garden with a stunning lake. So much to explore here! We will enjoy a BBQ at the public facilities after.

Featherdale Wildlife Park at Doonside

Enjoy lots of animal encounters today in this award winning wildlife park brimming with native animals. Meet a Quokka, venture into the Koala Kindy Enclosure or hand-feed little penguins or our young wombat Olive! Lunch can be bought at the cafe on site.

Bon Rean Highland Cattle Farm Experience

Let’s head to Camden to see the wonderful Highland Cattle up close at Bon Rean. We’ll take a small guided tour for a hands-on experience with the animals, and a ride on a tractor. Enjoy these majestic cows, along with the pigs and donkeys and even get to feed them. Please bring money to purchase lunch.
