The Learning Tree is built around fostering all kinds of social, creative, and physical skills, for children with disability. Filled with super cool activities like swimming, sports, gardening, arts and craft, seasonal cooking, and trips to the movies this is the place for after school fun and friends.

Funky art

Let’s get creative! Using our imagination we’ll create masterpieces with paints, glue and nature. For tea, we’ll make homemade spaghetti bolognese.

Music mania

Today, we’ll have a dance-off as we listen to some of our favourite tunes, then we’ll Zumba, play a few games with spot prizes and enjoy a BBQ with our peers.

Splash and dash

Let’s have some fun with creative water play, we’ll turn on the sprinkler and play water games with our peers. Be sure to bring spare clothes, and for tea, we’ll have fish and chips.

Sports mania

Let’s get active with running races, shooting hoops, an obstacle course and a game of cricket. For tea, we’ll have chicken ceaser salad.

Park day

We’ll head off for an adventure to Rose Point and use our gross motor skills and have fun climbing and playing. We’ll then have a treat and head to McDonald’s for tea.

Christmas month

Let’s get creative with Christmas tree decorations. We will put the tree up and start decorating the centre whilst listening and dancing to carols. For tea we will make our own pizzas.

Party day

This is a fun day where will do everything fun with a special surprise before you go home. Let’s dance the evening away, have party games and even some water play so make sure you wear your Christmas shirts and bring spare clothes just in case.
