The Learning Tree is built around fostering all kinds of social, creative, and physical skills, for children with disability. Filled with super cool activities like swimming, sports, gardening, arts and craft, seasonal cooking, and trips to the movies this is the place for after-school fun and friends.

Disco and karaoke
It’s time to get the party started! We’re finally back together, so let’s put on our dancing shoes, singing voices and rock on with a disco and karaoke. We’ll have fried rice for afternoon tea.

Today, we’ll head to the local grocery store to shop for our ingredients, head back to the hub to prepare our own chicken skewers. Then we’ll get active and head to the park to play some games and cook our skewers on the BBQ.

Who doesn’t love to build sand castles? Today, we’ll head to Little Beach for some water fun and a sand castle competition. Let’s find out who’s got what it takes to win the castle crown. We’ll enjoy fish and chips in the park.

Today, we’ll get creative and make our very own find and seek toy, we’ll fill it with tiny treasures and then see how many you can find!

As we head into summer and it becomes hot, we’re going to build our skills about fire safety, we’ll learn who to call and take part in fire drills so we’re fire safe. For afternoon tea we’ll have chicken and pasta bake.

Paint and dip
We’re going to head down to the foreshore with our canvas and paints and do a landscape painting. We’ll enjoy an afternoon dip and finish it off with pancakes and fruit kebabs.

It’s time to get crafty! We’ll make our very own Christmas ornaments to hang on the tree, and bake some fresh Christmas cookies to take home. To finish up we’ll have a treat and head to McDonalds for tea.

Christmas is all about spending time with the people we care about, we’ll have our own Christmas party, find out what’s under the tree and then sit down to enjoy a Christmas meal together.
