The Learning Tree is built around fostering all kinds of social, creative, and physical skills, for children with disability. Filled with super cool activities like swimming, sports, gardening, arts and craft, seasonal cooking, and trips to the movies this is the place for after-school fun and friends.

Pyjama party and disco

Let’s beat this cold snap and come dressed in our PJ’s and warm up with a bit of grooving and karaoke and finish off with a sausage sizzle.

DIY sensory slime night

Tonight we’re going to heighten our senses and make our very own icky sticky slime to take home. We’ll then prepare Spaghetti Bog for afternoon tea.

Scavenger hunt

Tonight we’ll work in teams and go in search of some outdoor objects to mark off our bingo sheet, the first team to finish will be the winner. Then, we’ll prepare our own hotdogs for afternoon tea.

Let’s bring out our artistic skills and head out and complete some chalk street art in the local community. We’ll then take pictures of all the amazing projects and enjoy some nice quiches for afternoon tea.

Park sport challenge

It’s time to say goodbye to winter as we head to the park to challenge each other in some sport activities. We’ll shoot some hoops, play hopscotch, and end with a game of cricket. For afternoon tea we’ll have nuggets and chips.

Tonight, we’ll paint some rocks then set out and hide them in the community for others to find. We’ll end the night off with pasta.

Tonight, we’re going to use our techno skills and follow instructions on phones to search for hidden objects around the area. Then we’ll have some yummy chip buddies for afternoon tea.

Let’s make our mark in our hub and produce a Sunnyfield tree by using our hand prints. Afternoon tea will be toasties.

Let’s enjoy the return of daylight savings, have a game of Bocce, and enjoy a walk to the lighthouse. We’ll end the night with Taco boats for afternoon tea.

Bring your swimmers and towel and we’ll head to little beach for some sand and water play. Then, we’ll sit and enjoy fish and chips on the waterfront.
