This household focuses on maximising your independence through capacity-building routines, encouraging all participants to take part in the home upkeep and daily responsibilities. Supported 24/7 by Sunnyfield staff, residents have freedom and control over their environment with peace-of-mind knowing that assistance is always available.
Sunnyfield Charmhaven Community Services Hub is a short 8 minute drive away, where you can participate in group activities such as bowling, fishing, sailing and more.
Gardenia House currently has four residents. Two residents attend day programs and work during the week, while the other two enjoy a retired life at home. Living on the Central Coast means these housemates love a trip to the beach for a swim when the sun is shining. During their downtime, some residents like to knit or crochet. Completing tasks independently is important to the residents, with one who has mastered the art of laundry.
