Support Group for Families with a Child with an Intellectual Disability

Do you have a primary school aged child (5-12 years old) with an intellectual disability? Are you feeling overwhelmed and under stress?

The Centre for Disability Studies, affiliate of the University of Sydney is inviting parents with a school-aged child with an intellectual disability, who are experiencing stress to attend a 6-week support group. Come along to:

  • Examine ways of overcoming stress
  • Develop skills and implement strategies to reduce stress and its impact on the family
  • Improve the well-being of yourself and your family

The group will be run at the Centre for Disability Studies in Camperdown by a Clinical Psychologist (Registrar). There is no cost for attending this group.
