Sunnyfield was proud to be part of Dreamnight at Taronga 2025, a much-loved annual event organised by Taronga Zoo to create a welcoming and inclusive experience for children and adults with disability, and their families.
Held after hours, Dreamnight offered a calmer and supportive environment, allowing Sunnyfield clients, families and carers to explore the zoo at their own pace. With a dedicated ticket allocation, attendees were able to enjoy the evening in a way that suited their individual needs, with comfort, accessibility and inclusion at the forefront.
The zoo came alive with colour, music and friendly faces throughout the night. Many familiar groups helped bring the event to life, including the 501st Southern Garrison with Star Wars and superhero characters, the Cockatoo Kids, the Diggers Military Motorcycle Club, SpinJoy, and representatives from NSW Police, Fire and Rescue NSW and NSW Ambulance.
Taronga’s dedicated keepers also played a key role, presenting the Free Flight Bird Show and Red Energy Seal Show, giving attendees the opportunity to enjoy close-up animal experiences.
More than entertainment, Dreamnight created space for connection. Tranquil zones, accessible planning resources and the Taronga staff and volunteers helped ensure everyone felt supported.
Sunnyfield is grateful to Taronga Zoo and all those involved for creating an inclusive evening that brought smiles, laughter and a strong sense of community.
