Sunnyfield’s Annual General Meeting 2025 celebrated the power of belonging while launching a new strategy focused on sustainable growth and stronger futures.
Held at Sunnyfield’s new Northern Beaches Support Office, the AGM brought together clients, families, staff and supporters to reflect on shared achievements and look ahead with confidence.
A highlight of the evening was honouring people who have been part of the Sunnyfield community for 10, 20 and even 30 years. Their journeys with Sunnyfield show what true belonging means: connection, trust and the chance to grow together.
The AGM also marked the launch of Sunnyfield’s new five-year organisational strategy – Strategy 2030 – shaped around four priorities that will guide our future:
- Investing in our services – Delivering consistent, best quality, contemporary services to more people, across more locations.
- Investing in our people and culture – Fostering high engagement, performance, capability, safety and ONE Sunnyfield team.
- Investing in community relationships – Building trusted local partnerships and relationships and continuing to advocate for better inclusion and a fairer NDIS.
- Investing in tools and infrastructure – Investing in the right tools, technologies, processes, assets and properties to ensure all services and locations are best in class.
“For over 70 years, Sunnyfield has been a place where people with intellectual disability can live, learn, work, make friends, have fun and get help when needed. Those services remain in our DNA and provide the foundation for our new five-year strategy. Sunnyfield has a positive story to tell – we are investing for the future in the services our clients want and need across their life goals,” said Andrew Hyland, Sunnyfield CEO.
“Growth is not just about expanding services, it’s about expanding opportunity and ensuring belonging is at the heart of everything we do,” added Andrew.
