Western Sydney on the Move

Western Sydney on the Move Sunnyfield Enterprises Western Sydney are on the move. The Minchinbury and St. Mary’s sites will be consolidated into one facility located at Mount Druitt by September
2014. Supported employees based at both sites will relocate to Mount Druitt and are very excited about this new chapter in their working lives. Enterprises North St. Marys will be closing its doors after eight years occupancy to make way for the new site. Enterprises outgrew the North St. Marys site two years ago, and subsequently leased a second site at Minchinbury as a short term measure until the North St. Marys lease expired.

The move will give supported employees the opportunity to work in a factory specifically designed to operate in three different industry areas.

These areas include the laundry packaging operation, general assembly/process work and the therapeutic goods operations in the clean rooms.

They will not only be working in a modern professional working environment, but will also have the opportunity to diversify their work skills by gaining experience in all the work areas available. This gives them more choice and opportunities to work where they want to, doing the work they enjoy most.

The site is located within easy distance from Mount Druitt train station and buses. Travel training is being provided to all employees requiring assistance.

The new premises will assist Sunnyfield to cope with increased customer demands whilst also providing the opportunity to bring together all of the Western Sydney supported employees to one larger site.

The new facility at Kurrajong Avenue will provide extensive warehouse and production space, as well as modern offices and training room facilities for our Transition to Work (TTW) Program which will allow for the future expansion of the Program.

The premises has been refurbished to meet all safety requirements to ensure a safe working environment.

Due to increased demand from one of our largest pharmaceutical customers, a new TGA approved clean room will be constructed.

In leasing this new production facility, Sunnyfield Enterprises will be in a position to consolidate a number of significant customer contracts. Doing this will allow Sunnyfield Enterprises to grow in Western Sydney both in business and in job opportunities for supported employees.

We look forward to the progression and expansion of Sunnyfield.
