All Hands On Deck at Muswellbrook Community Services Hub

Muswellbrook-Community-Services-Hub-Sensory-Room

October 6, 2020

Clients and staff at Muswellbrook Community Services Hub eagerly took on the task to convert an unused room into a sensory haven.

Regional Manager Rebecca Curtis said “Everyone is thrilled with the results, the room has gone from an empty overlooked space to an enchanting wonderland. The room will provide clients with a safe environment to seek out sensory stimulation through soft play or use it as a quiet place to relax in”.

The completion of the room would not have been possible without the help of all the staff and generosity from Muswellbrook Shire Council who awarded the Hub with a grant to help purchase sensory equipment. Thank you!
