At Sunnyfield you can access a wide range of lifestyle supports, this could be in a Sunnyfield Lifestyle Hub, out and about in your community with one-on-one support from a Support Worker or you could join a social group in your local area.

What types of activities are available ?

We’ve got loads on offer across Sunnyfield, you can pick and choose programs based on your interests and hobbies, or learn a new set of skills to build independence.

Programs and activities include:

  • Sport and fitness
  • Cooking
  • Arts and craft
  • Music and movement
  • Community outings such as visiting art galleries, museums, local attractions, events and festivals
  • Skills for Life – Road Safety, Following a Recipe, Planning a Menu, Budgeting or Numeracy
  • Virtual programs such as Virtual Trivia, Virtual Fitness or Bongo Beats
  • Science and technology

What is the difference between group-based and centre-based activities?

Centre-based activities are set within the physical location of the hub, group-based activities are set in the community. You may access the hub for centre-based activities or head out and explore your local community for dance classes, sailing, music classes or just to head to the park to hang with your mates.

These supports are charged as either centre-based or community access under the NDIS price guide.

What type of NDIS Funding can I use to access Lifestyle Services?

You can utilise NDIS funding from the following support categories to access disability services at a Sunnyfield hub:

  • Assistance with Social and Community Participation – Core
  • Increased Social and Community Participation – Capacity
  • We also offer Fee-For-Service.
