With new baking and coffee making skills, William is growing every day at Aspire Café.
William has been part of the Sunnyfield Aspire Café team since February 2023, and during that time he has developed a range of practical hospitality skills in a supportive and welcoming environment.
Through his role at the café, William has learnt how to prepare a variety of baked items, including brownies, shortbread and cheese bread. He has also developed coffee making skills, gaining hands on experience using a professional machine. Each new skill has helped him grow his confidence and enjoyment of work.
Beyond learning new tasks, William values being part of a strong and connected team. The friendships he has formed and the encouragement he receives from those around him make his workplace experience meaningful and positive. Reflecting on his time at Aspire Café, William shared, “I am very happy to have good friends and a good teacher.”
