Meet Nicole Heffernan
With over 11 years of experience in the disability sector, Nicole brought her expertise to Sunnyfield when the Tweed Heads hub opened its doors 4 years ago, helping grow the hub to what it is today. Nicole believes in empowering clients to be independent, achieving their NDIS goals on their own with support only where required. As a big lover of travelling the world, Nicole is passionate about culture, diversity and respect for other beliefs. If she’s not travelling, you can catch Nicole on the slopes in the Snowy Mountains.
Jess’ number one NDIS goal was to get a job in hospitality. Nothing was more important and her dedication to make it on her own made her unstoppable. After a lot of volunteering, training and skill development, and with the support of her care workers, Mum and her community, Jess has found a paid job at her local sports club. To say Jess is proud would be an understatement. Watch Jess’ journey to finding employment.
