MP James Griffin supports kitchen upgrade in Freshwater

Sunnyfield Freshwater Minister Visit

March 7, 2019

Bring your appetite! Freshwater residents are enjoying cooking in their new kitchen, thanks to the support from local MP James Griffin.

Sunnyfield was awarded $23,700 through the 2017 Community Building Partnership grant round to help renovate a Shared Living home in Freshwater.

The new kitchen has meant residents can easily access the bench tops, cupboards and appliances without restrictions. It has also reinvigorated their love of cooking, with each resident cooking up their favourite dish once a week for their housemates.
