From First Aid training to real world placements, Linnea has embraced every challenge with confidence and care. Her journey is just beginning.
Meet Linnea, one of our shining stars at Allambie Heights. Since joining Sunnyfield’s Vocational Services in February 2025, Linnea has shown exceptional focus, motivation and has embraced every opportunity to grow her skills.
Over the year Linnea has completed multiple courses including First Aid and gained real world experience through a six-week placement at the Australian Reptile Park. She also attends weekly work experience at Sunnyfield’s packaging site, continuing to build confidence and hands on skills.
Linnea shared, “I like the outings, spending time with friends and I enjoy cooking and bowling.” She also enjoys learning new things, saying she loved “researching different words of the day, learning about occupations and writing my own resume.”
With a long-term goal of becoming a childcare educator, Linnea is already making a positive impact by supporting classmates with numeracy and literacy. Reflecting on the year, she said, “I am proud of teaching my classmate writing and reading in English. I like Kristina and Andrew as my teachers as they teach me a lot of interesting and new things.”
Linnea continues to approach each day with enthusiasm and curiosity, building skills that will support her future goals. Her journey so far highlights the impact of meaningful learning, real world experience and supportive relationships.
