Max began his Sunnyfield journey in 2013 through Vocational Services, where he learnt a range of new skills to prepare for the world of work. His dedication and enthusiasm soon led him to join the Sunnyfield Packaging team in June 2015, where he became a valued part of the crew.
In 2023, Max discovered a brand-new passion when he began working two days a week at Aspire Café. Since then, he’s flourished in the busy café environment, developing skills in food preparation, customer service, and kitchen organisation.
Max shared that he “loves cooking brownies, cookies and healthy slice bars,” and says his favourite thing is serving customers at the cash register with his signature friendly smile.
Recently, Max has taken on even more responsibility, learning how to place orders for food items that have run out and organise the kitchen in alphabetical order to keep everything running smoothly.
From the packaging floor to the café counter, Max’s story is a shining example of how Sunnyfield helps people discover their strengths, explore new interests and build meaningful, long-lasting careers.
