Carnival at Sunnyfield Brings Joy to Greater Western Sydney

October 9, 2025

The Orchard Hills Community Services Hub recently transformed into a place of colour, fun, and connection, as clients came together for a Carnival organised by Sunnyfield’s Greater Western Sydney Hubs team.

The day was all about enjoyment. From cuddling baby animals and blowing giant bubbles to dancing along with the music, getting creative with face painting, and joining in games, clients embraced every activity with energy and enthusiasm. The BBQ was a favourite stop for many, and the relaxed, inclusive atmosphere made it easy for everyone to join in at their own pace.

For many clients, it was a chance to try something new, celebrate with friends, and share in the excitement of a big community event. The smiles and laughter throughout the day reflected just how much fun everyone was having and the sense of belonging the Carnival created.

The event was also a wonderful reminder of what Sunnyfield’s Community Services are all about — creating opportunities for people with disability to live life their way, enjoy meaningful experiences, and feel connected to their community.
