Changes to the NDIS commenced on 1 October 2026, with further NDIS reforms expected to be introduced progressively over time.

As these NDIS reforms continue to unfold, not all details will be immediately available. Funding decisions, participant outcomes and broader impacts will become clearer as the new arrangements are implemented.

We understand that periods of change can create uncertainty. Sunnyfield is committed to keeping participants, families and guardians informed, supported and updated throughout this journey.

To support our community through these changes, Sunnyfield will be hosting a series of NDIS Reform Information Forums during November 2026 and February 2027. These sessions will provide an opportunity to learn more about the NDIS reforms, understand what we know today, and hear how Sunnyfield is preparing for the future.

Topics Covered

  1. Understanding the NDIS reforms
  2. Potential impacts for participants and services
  3. Navigating plan reviews and reassessments
  4. How Sunnyfield can support participants and families
  5. The importance of evidence, documentation and participant outcomes
