This warm and active SDA supported home in Concord West has an opportunity for someone new to join a sociable and welcoming household, with a large bedroom now vacant.

Our current residents are a lovely mix of personalities who bring energy and heart to the home.

One resident is warm-hearted and funny with a great sense of humour who loves music and singing (especially Greek songs), dancing, bowling, going for drives and connecting with the people around them. Another resident is happy, sociable and gentle with a great smile who loves being active, listening to The Wiggles and Hi-5 on their iPad, swimming, and getting out and about on community drives and park visits, while also valuing their own personal space. A third resident is spirited and social with a beautiful smile who thrives on staying busy, enjoying arts and crafts, puzzles, cooking, community walks in quiet parks, pamper sessions with foot spas and nail polish, and watching Disney movies.

Across the household our residents are developing everyday skills like helping with cooking and chores, communication, making choices and building independence, all supported by consistent, familiar staff who know them well.

Life here has a comfortable rhythm of weekday day programs, weekend family time and plenty of fun, from group outings to relaxed time together at home. This home would suit someone who enjoys a friendly, engaged and structured environment, loves music, community outings and shared activities, and would value both good company and their own quiet space.
