Marvellous Monday

Culinary Compass

Explore global cultures through food! Each session features a new country, where participants cook traditional dishes, discover unique ingredients, and learn the stories behind them. This program will include a custom made passport to stamp off each new worldly location.

Everybody Moves

Stay active, have fun, and build confidence! Experience the excitement at PCYC Maitland with an expert instructor who will teach you how to stretch, jump on the trampoline, balance on the bars and tumble your way to a stronger you!

The Queen B’s

A welcoming space where women come together to connect, create, and unwind. From crafts and cooking to wellness and conversation, enjoy a range of engaging activities designed to inspire, relax, and empower.

Functional Fitness

This engaging and energetic group aims to support active movement, develop new skills, and experience the benefits of a healthy lifestyle. Each week, participants take part in a range of sports and movement-based activities designed to promote fitness and teamwork.

Pathways to Independence

Our travel training program supports participants to build confidence and practical skills to travel safely and independently in their community. The program focuses on public transport use, route planning, safety, problem-solving, and social skills.

The Kingsmen

This inclusive men’s group is all about skill building and weekly adventures. Discover the power of connection and shared experiences while bonding over common interests.

Cake and Bake Stall

Build practical baking skills while exploring opportunities for food-based micro businesses. This hands-on program teaches you how to create fresh, delicious baked goods that can be adapted for market stalls or small ventures. Mix, bake, and enjoy turning your love for baking into a rewarding business idea.

Tremendous Thursdays

Sew Many Threads

Build a wide range of sewing skills, from mastering basic hand-stitching techniques to confidently using a sewing machine. Throughout the program, we’ll learn how to measure, cut, and assemble materials, while completing projects that contribute to our micro-business.

Hammer Time

Join us in crafting practical and creative pieces for our micro business, while learning to collaborate, share skills, and create more than just wood. We’ll also give new life to used materials, upcycling them into unique and cherished creations.

Community Connections

This program supports participants to volunteer alongside local community members and organisations, participate in market stalls, raise funds for the hub through the Return and Earn program, and build positive relationships within the local community.

Block and Roll

Kickstart your karate journey with confidence! Step into this beginner-friendly class to master fundamental techniques and build skills. We’ll be in the expert hands of instructor Peter from KIK-Family Martial Arts Rutherford.

Knots and Drops

From macramé wall hangings and essential oil blends to simple sewing projects and decorative art, participants will learn practical skills, explore textures and natural materials, and express their individuality through hands-on creativity

Roll up your sleeves and take part in a hands-on DIY program where participants source furniture online, restore and repair items, and sell them to raise funds for the hub.
