Representatives from our Allambie and Mt Druitt sites are coming together to share ideas, strengthen safety and help shape a positive workplace for everyone at Sunnyfield.
Sunnyfield is proud to introduce our 2026 Workers Committee, bringing together employee representatives from our Allambie and Mt Druitt packaging and café sites. This group plays an important role in strengthening communication, encouraging collaboration, and ensuring employee voices are heard across our workplaces.
The committee provides a platform for team members to share ideas, raise feedback, and contribute to discussions that help shape day to day experiences at Sunnyfield. By creating opportunities for open conversation, the committee supports a workplace culture built on respect, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
A key focus area for the Workers Committee is safety and wellbeing. Members work closely with site leaders to identify practical improvements that help keep everyone safe, from recognising trip hazards and reviewing equipment safety to discussing emergency procedures and site processes. Their involvement helps ensure that solutions are informed by the people who use these spaces every day.
Committee member Honi said” I like that I am the talk for the clients and I can discuss about safety and them getting to work on time”.
We look forward to the year ahead and the valuable insights, ideas and leadership this committee will bring. Their contribution will continue to play an important part in building safe, supportive, and inclusive environments for everyone at Sunnyfield.
