Sunnyfield officially relaunched its upgraded Lifestyle Hub in St Marys on Friday 6 March.

Following extensive renovations of over $350,000, the refreshed hub has been transformed into a modern, accessible space designed to support participants to build independence, strengthen social connections, and engage actively in their local community.

The upgraded hub now includes a fully equipped gym, a fully accessible kitchen, a dedicated art space, state-of-the-art sensory room and flexible communal areas designed to support a wide range of skill-building, recreational, and social programs.

Sunnyfield’s General Manager, Jarel Phillips said the relaunch reflects the organisation’s ongoing commitment to creating inclusive environments where people with disability can thrive.

“These upgrades represent more than just new spaces; they create new opportunities. The St Marys hub will support people to develop life skills, build confidence, form friendships, and participate meaningfully in their community,” Jarel Phillips, Sunnyfield General Manager, Disability Services.

With more than 73 years of experience, Sunnyfield has a long history of empowering people with disability to live fulfilling and independent lives. The organisation operates 26 lifestyle hubs across NSW, each tailored to the needs of its local community.

The St Marys hub relaunch was a celebration showcasing some of the programs on offer at the hub, clients served up homemade Nepalese dumplings , demonstrated a gym class and put on a live music and movement display.  It was a wonderful morning with the Sunnyfield community all coming together to enjoy the new facilities.
