Fundraising is a pillar on which Sunnyfield was built upon. 65 years ago, 18 families from Sydney’s Northern Beaches came together and in an extraordinary effort, raised funds to build the first Sunnyfield School. Since then we have gone from strength to strength and local communities, businesses and individuals are still supporting Sunnyfield through donations, gifts in-kind and volunteering their valuable time.

To mark our 65th anniversary, each month we would like to acknowledge some of the wonderful supporters who have directly contributed to Sunnyfield’s mission of enriching the lives of people with disability by creating choice, opportunities and skills for life.

Supporter of the month: Ricoh

Sunnyfield is extremely appreciative of the amazing support Ricoh has provided over the last 20 years, including donations totalling over $1,000,000.

In 2005, Ricoh established the Ricoh Trust which assisted Sunnyfield with purchasing and renovating much needed accommodation for clients and supporting the construction of Sunnyfield’s 2,000m² training and employment facility, which is still providing employment to people with disability today.

The impact Ricoh has made on the lives of clients we support can still be felt today. Thank you Ricoh for your incredible support.
