What’s happening?
Over the last three weeks, we have been preparing for user acceptance testing (UAT) with training for all the teams who will be doing UAT.
What is UAT?
So we’ve had a great team building Compass, and now we bring more people onto that team to test it, to make sure it does what we want it to do across all of our business. We do this by having “test scenarios” (like scheduling a client activity or working a shift) and then using Compass to perform all the steps to do this.
How long does it take?
Well, there are lots of processes and scenarios in what we all do, so UAT will take a bit of time. And while the team has done an awesome job building Compass, with something so complex, it is likely we’ll find a few things that need to be fixed. So UAT will run until early December.
