Learning Opportunities

We encourage ongoing learning as an integral part of improving service delivery and staff development. Learning and development programs available are:

Essential Learning

Orientation, e-learning modules, site induction and buddy shift (if required)

Client Specific

Epilepsy, peg feeding and/or diabetes training may be required for those directly supporting clients

Skill Enhancement

Defensible documentation, MAYBO and NSW Ombudsman training for those directly supporting clients

Professional Development

An online library of learning resources including online courses, ted-talks and discussion documents

Starting his career over ten years ago as a Support Worker, and driven by his curiosity to understand disability service provision, building rapport with clients, families, and carers, Tim has worked across a range of front-line management roles including Regional Manager, Assistant Manager, and Service Coordinator. As the new Learning Consultant, “every day I am learning and evolving in this role, quality and consistency in practice and service delivery is something I am very passionate about.”
