We are privileged that Sharon has allowed us to share her family’s story of how Sunnyfield has made a difference in their lives.
Sharon has her hands full. Having one child with disability can be stressful, but when four of your children have moderate or severe disabilities, you need consistent support and quality service provision.
Sharon and her children are one of the 711 families who receive respite services from Sunnyfield.
Around 50% of respite services are provided to children and young people.
Sharon has four children with Asperger's or autism and sensory processing disorder, and three have also been diagnosed with intellectual disability.
