Sunnyfield Launches ACT Shared Living Services

On 23 November Sunnyfield launched its Shared Living Services in the ACT.

“We are very proud to launch Shared Living Services in the ACT,” says Sunnyfield CEO Caroline Cuddihy.

“Sunnyfield’s living options range from shared living to independent living and drop-in services, offering personalised communication support, the opportunity for growth and development, and a strong support network for people with disability and their families. Our dedicated staff support a safe, accessible and enriching home environment.”

ACT resident Michael has been enjoying his new Sunnyfield Shared Living home and specialised programs that support him in increasing independence and building life skills including, money handling, cooking, travel and transportation, communication, health and fitness, and community participation.

“Sunnyfield’s support workers demonstrate a strong interest in my brothers’ well-being and an active approach to supporting him in making positive lifestyle choices. I look forward to watching my brother grow in capability and confidence with the support of Sunnyfield,” said Ken.

Sunnyfield patron, Air Chief Marshall Sir Angus Houston AK, AFC (Ret’d) officially launched the Sunnyfield Shared Living Services at Sunnyfield’s office in the Grant Cameron Community Centre at Holden.
