The NDIS roll out plan

sunnyfield-slider-future-planning-1The NDIS roll out in New South Wales started in the Hunter region in 2013, followed by Western Sydney for children aged under 18 in September 2015.

Between 1 July 2016 and 30 June 2018, people with disability who are currently funded by the NSW Department of Ageing, Disability and Home Care (ADHC) will change over to the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).

The NDIA have said that new participants to the NDIS will be accepted from 1 July 2018, except those in urgent or exceptional circumstances who may be able to access the NDIS sooner.
