Sunnyfield Ambassadors
A Sunnyfield Ambassador is a high profile and inspirational person in the community who is appointed to act as a champion of our organisation. A Sunnyfield Ambassador volunteers their time to advocate our core purpose to the wider community, that is to 'enrich the lives of people with disabilities to create choice, opportunities and independence'.

Layne Beachley
Seven-time Association of Surfing Professionals Women's World Champion, Layne Beachley is the most successful female surfer of all time. Holding the greatest number of consecutive world titles - male or female - Layne Beachley is one of Australia's greatest icons. Other achievement highlights include, induction into the Sport Australia Hall of Fame and the NSW Hall Of Champions in 2011 and the Surfing Hall of Fame in 2006. Layne is also a three-time winner of the NSW Sportsperson of the Year award (2000, 2002, 2003) and she was named as the ESPN Surfer of the Year in 2001, to name a few.

Mike Munro Mike Munro is the host of the Channel 7 program, Sunday Night and is now one of the most respected investigative journalists in Australia. Mike began his career in journalism at just 17 years old, working in both print and television media and hosting television shows that include; Sunday Night, 60 Minutes, This Is Your Life and A Current Affair. Mike was awarded the Thorn Award for Best Current Affairs Report in 1983 and a Thorn Journalist Award the following year. In 1985, Mike received the Logie for Reporter of the Year and the Penguin Award for Best Current Affairs Journalist.

Rachel Ward AM As an actress, Rachel Ward starred in a number of international films over 20 years and was the recipient of several International drama awards and nominations, which includes two Golden Globe nods. Today, Rachel channels her knowledge and experience of the film industry into writing and directing. Rachel is perhaps best known for her adaptation and directing of Beautiful Kate, starring Ben Mendelsohn, Rachel Griffith and Bryan Brown. Beautiful Kate was nominated for 10 AFI Awards and invited for screening at both the Sydney and Toronto Film Festivals. Rachel was appointed Member of the Order of Australia in the Queen's Birthday Honours List in June 2005 for raising awareness of social justice through lobbying, mentoring and advocacy for the rights of disadvantaged and at-risk young people.

Tim Bailey Tim Bailey started his career as a journalist in his hometown of Hobart, following in the footsteps of two generations of his family. In 1990 Tim joined Network TEN's Good Morning Australia as a reporter before joining 2Day FM's Morning Crew with Wendy Harmer for 12 months as the Sports Reader and colour reporter and humorist. But the lure of television was never far away. On returning to TEN, Tim revived his role on GMA, joined the team on Totally Wild as a presenter and hosted his own early morning program, The Big Breakfast. Tim has also commentated for the Uncle Toby's Super Series and was a feature reporter at the Commonwealth Games in Canada. One of Australia's most recognisable faces, Tim currently presents the weather on location around NSW for the First at Five News. Tim is also a cover reporter for the Network and is a regular on TEN's week long annual Melbourne Cup coverage, summertime surf reporter on Sports Tonight and the Telstra Sydney to Hobart - an event he has completed as a participant four times. |

Ricky Stuart NSW's first full-time Origin coach, Ricky Stuart was one of rugby league's finest on field performers during a star-studded career that saw him scale the dizzy heights of the game. Since transferring his talents to coaching in 2001, the former Test halfback, rated by Rugby League Week in the game's top 30 players between 1978 and 2008, has established an equally commanding reputation. On the representative front, Stuart played nine rugby league Tests for his country, 14 State of Origin matches for the NSWBlues, made two Kangaroo tours and one World Cup tour to Great Britain and starred in four NSW State of Origin series victories.
